Emotions are powerful. They can fuel greatness or destroy performance. The key is not to eliminate emotions, but to control them.
These cloud judgment and hurt performance.
These enhance performance and decision-making.
Label what you're feeling: "I'm feeling frustrated." Awareness is the first step to control.
One deep breath creates space between emotion and action. This prevents emotional mistakes.
Angry? Use that energy to attack. Nervous? Use that adrenaline to explode. Transform the emotion.
When emotions spike, use your focus cue word to reset your mind.
Connect to your purpose. When you remember WHY you're wrestling, emotions become manageable.
"Calm mind, fierce heart."
Identify your emotional triggers and create a response plan:
When I feel ANGRY, I will:

When I feel NERVOUS, I will:

When I feel FRUSTRATED, I will:

Emotional control isn't about being emotionless — it's about channeling emotions productively. Feel the intensity, but don't let it control your decisions. Stay calm, stay focused, stay aggressive.
